Aluminum is one of the most popular choices for garden furniture – and for good reason. It’s lightweight, rust-resistant, and requires very little upkeep. Beyond its practical advantages, aluminum also provides a sleek, modern look. The powder-coated finish gives your furniture a stylish and sleek look in your preferred color.
Key benefits of aluminum:

Lightweight and easy to move

Powder coated aluminum is the material mainly used throughout Belamo’s collections. The main reason why the majority of the Belamo collection is made of this material is because of its many advantages for outdoor use. Powder coated aluminum looks incredibly sharp, is corrosion resistant, lightweight and low maintenance.
The powder is applied and baked onto the furniture. This process improves the quality of the coating and makes it less susceptible to scratches and stains. It also improves the color fastness and prevents the coating from pealing-off like regular paint. For durability purposes, each coating has a minimum thickness of 0.0472” (1.2 mm) To make our products even more durable our furniture is equipped with: • Wear plugs • Feet levelers • Drainage openings to prevent condensation
Although aluminum is naturally easy to care for, a regular cleaning routine helps keep it looking new. Avoid aggressive cleaning products, as these can harm the protective coating. With just a few simple steps, you can keep your outdoor furniture in top shape.
Estimated time: about 30 minutes
What you’ll need:
Warm water
Mild dish soap
Soft cloth
A wet Magic Eraser sponge (Only use the White Sponge Side if there are 2 sides, never use a sponge that can cause scratching)
Step 1: Rinse
Spray down the furniture with a garden hose to wash away loose dirt, dust, and leaves. Do not use pressure washers or hard brushes, since they may damage the powder coating.
Step 2: Wash
Prepare a bucket of warm water with a small amount of dish soap. Use a soft cloth to gently clean all surfaces. Rinse well with clean water and let the furniture dry completely.
Step 3: Protect
Once the surface is dry, apply a thin protective layer with a soft cloth. This creates a barrier against water and dirt, helping your furniture stay fresh throughout the season.
Important note: Do not leave glasses or other items (tea candles, plates,…) on the aluminum surface in direct sunlight.
